In this Lunar New Year 2014, the resort has prepared these fabulous reunion promotions for you to plan your festive with your family and loved ones. Well, who knows you have a big family gathering? Head over to Silk Garden, The Pacific Sutera Hotel!

There are three different 9-course set menus. Each set menu comes with complimentary Yee Sang or what we call, “Prosperity Toss” in English, for a prosperous New Year.

Sweet and sourish dish for the Chinese in considered a symbol of abundance, prosperity and vigor. Yusheng literally means "raw fish" but since "fish ()" is commonly conflated with its homophone "abundance ()". With that, Yúshēng (余升) means an increase in abundance. Some would consume it on Renri (人日), the seventh day of the Chinese New Year, although in practice it may be eaten on any convenient day during Chinese New Year (1st to 15th Day).

Papercup Phone

It is an old invention, but who knows when we will actually do it?

After a gym session with my love, we head straight to Aubergine for some good healthy food. After a long chat and right before we left, the boys came to us and showed us the new model of iPhone and Samsung. Oh well, literary it’s the latest model. Wanna have a look? There you go.

It actually works! I have to say that when we were in primary, this scientific thingy has already existed, but we never get a chance to actually try to invent it. And there you go, after leaving high school for almost 10 years, here comes all the funny behaviour.

Make a tiny hole at the bottom of the plastic cup, and tie a string (depends how far your distance to the receiver is). Pull the cup straight and start to talk. The vibration brings our voice! What an incredible feeling.

Oh that sweet wine.

Many of my friends prefer to drink beers but I have my perfect partner in crime who's into wines like me.

Meet up for dinner at a restaurant that doesn't serve wines, we decided to buy some wine at the nearest supermarket. So right after we ordered our food, we went down immediately.

We found this wine and its sweet, affordable. It cost RM38 nett!
