It all
started in November 2011 where I have been encouraged by my parents to join
this competition that Sabah Tourist Association announced in the press as I
have passion in the tourism industry. When thru 3 stages of tests, I have been
appointed by the Ministry of Tourism, Sabah Tourism Board, and Sabah Tourist
Association to be one of the Sabah Young Tourism Ambassadors. With this, my
duties and responsibilities are to promote Sabah as a whole and to spread how
beautiful and wonderful place I am leaving in. Not only that. I also get to
challenge myself to go through a new experience in traveling new places and
destinations.

Here, I am working in another environment with a lot of
beautiful people. Borneo Eco Film Festival (BEFF) is a not-for-profit free
event held annually to celebrate Borneo's biocultural diversity through
showcasing environmental films and nurturing local community filmmaking.

Beauty Queen
Back in
2010, I have challenged myself to join a Beauty Pageant competition titled Miss
Borneo Tourism Queen International 2010/2011. Back then, I was still lifting my
68kgs once I have been chosen to be one of the Semi Finalist. Surprisingly
being chosen not because of my figure but knowledge and passion in tourism
industry and environment, I did my best to lost 10kgs in almost a month. Went
through Semi Final and Grand Final, I have won three titles which are the Miss
Nature’s Guardian, Miss Charity, and Miss Popular. Even though I did not win,
but it’s a great experience and challenge for me, also an eye opener for me (if
you know what I meant). One of the sponsors told me, ‘Chloe, you are the best
Finalist’. I never thought of that word coming but I love that very much. Thank
you for giving me such a title as well and thank you everyone who have been
supporting me through the journey!

Who
starts to blog since 2006 December if I am not mistaken. The reason that I
started blogging is because I furthered my studies in Kuala Lumpur at my early
age which was only 16 and I couldn’t updated my family of what’s going on one
by one in a call. So, by words, yea it is much easier, save cost, and I can
tell or share as much as I can! So eventually I am still continuing to blog
after my studies in Kuala Lumpur until now. I never regret of blogging or blog
for free (since I am sharing lots of free information for restaurants *laugh*).
My tradition goes on, blogging in terms of travelling, foods, life, and many
more.

Daughter
I am the
youngest in the family. Guess what? I have three more sisters which makes my
dad a happy man surrounded by all the ladies. Mom is the toughest woman I met
in my life! Basically, I love my parents and I’ll do anything for them (for
those who bullied them, watch out!). They have been supportive for me and I
wish I will not let them down because they told me that I am too outgoing
and independent but I think it’s a good thing right?

Degree Holder
I have
officially graduated from European University at Barcelona, Spain in 2012. I
have started my Diploma in Tourism Management with INTI College Sabah, and
continue to take my Bachelor Degree of Arts in Leisure and Tourism Management.
But before Tourism, I was studying Diploma in Techonology (Quantity Survery) in
Tunku Abdul Rahman College, Kuala Lumpur. I believe everyone must equip with
good knowledge and experiences. Education and knowledge is always yours, no one
else. So, grab it when you still have the opportunity and have faith.
Friend
I have
many friends and they are part of my life. Friends somehow will be there
whenever we needed them right? With that, I will be there for my friends as
well whenever they needed me. They are like family, brothers and sisters to me.
I am able to click with any topics with my friends and it will definitely bring
great laughter to it!
