#adidas #mygirls continues to celebrate the sporting passion of women in Southeast Asia!

Stellar cast of Malaysian personalities put together to inspire Malaysian girls across the nation

Adidas recently announced the return of the #mygirls campaign, created by women for women that aims to provide inspiration, support and motivation while celebrating women and their passion for sports. This year’s campaign captures each ambassador in their home country leading and inspiring their girls to work together and go #allin for their pursuits.

The adidas #mygirls campaign explores the support, encouragement and competitive edge that girls give each other to help them unlock their full potential both in and out of the sporting arena. Sharifah Sakinah – actress and fitness enthusiast is featured as the Malaysian Ambassador.  She is also backed by adidas #mygirls personalities Atilia Haron, Sazzy Falak, Megan Tan and Elfira Loy, who together make a unique group of Malaysian girls that represent different personalities and age groups.

The campaign also featured the adidas Women’s Sports Performance Fall/Winter 2014 collection which includes the unrivalled energy BOOST running shoes that comes with a stretch mesh upper, and is popular for its BOOST cushioning and flexible TORSION® system that provides unparalleled comfort, support and stability, delivering a unique running experience.

Other products were also featured in the campaign such as the Clima Training bra and the adidas Techfit tights, which also help make each workout session as comfortable as possible. Designed with a wide racer back and cross back straps to provide maximum support and fit, the Clima Training bra is perfect for medium to high intensity workout sessions such as dancing and running.

The Instagram challenge, which kicks off today, Monday 18th August, is aimed at engaging Malaysian women in becoming active with adidas and  its girls. 2 hours with #AdidasNEO by #AdidasMY at Suria Sabah Shopping Mall

Let us reveal how crazy we were during our shopping at the AdidasNEO store.

The three of us choose to hunt for our favourites together so that we can have more eyes and opinion on each other’s decision. We took almost 2 to 3 hours in the store to choose what’s best for us. This is because everything is so nice that it is hard for us to grab everything that we want! In addition to that, eventually I have to add another few extra dollar besides using the sponsored AdidasNEO vouchers of RM1000. Boys will be boys and girls will always be girls. When it comes to shopping, we just can’t get enough.

Choosing from the counter, there is a lovely pair of chopstick which I would really want to own it and just to use it every time when I cook in the office so I can show to everyone that “hey! Adidas has chopsticks too!” but I decided not to because I couldn’t put an Adidas into my mouth! I will slap myself if I do that. But still, I would really like to use it because nobody has it yet!

Look further in the store for some awesome shoes. I have always love Adidas shoes since I was just a kid. That three stripes trademark is just awesome as the way it is and there are so many to choose fresh from the rack! First, I have chose the new purple pink shoe that shines right in front of me once I first step forward to the shoe rack. If you really able to spot the difference, there’s another purple shoe that placed second beside of this pair that I chose but the purple colour is different. This purple looks more stunning as it is slightly lighter and unique in the sense that you seldom get to see this colour.

Let me tell you something. I think AdidasNEO has a good customer service as all the staffs are helpful and friendly. Look, they will help you whenever you need perhaps a new stock for the items that you chose, questions like what’s on promotions, and this guy even helped me choose a style! Nice. Sometimes I like it that way because ladies, we got to trust the man’s eyes. This is the sneaker that this guy chose for me because I was having a hard time choosing the white or the jeans material.

And time to grab some nice outfit that suits me. I chose this Women Fox Sweater @ RM170 because I think it’s cool. It’s not because that I’m crazy despite in our tropical weather here. But hey, I can wear it for a movie night right? And I’m always travelling. So, I can’t wait to wear it on my next trip to China or Europe. It will be lovely and with the two beautiful foxes in front of the sweater, it certainly grabs the attention. And the shorts, who doesn't like shorts here in Kota Kinabalu? Haha! It's essential for us Sabahans.

Another great outing during the weekend with the girls and of course, AdidasNEO. Well, normally we will have food reviews together - too often! This time, we spent our time together hunting for the best outfit in AdidasNEO store at Suria Sabah Shopping Mall. What’s next? Perhaps another shopping spree? *fingers crossed*

Reaching at the store about 1:00pm in the afternoon and first greeted by the friendly staffs at the store. Explaining why are we here and we started walking around hunting for what we want at the second minute. The bright AdidasNEO store somehow attracts shoppers attention as it is vibrant with cool music that urge you to shop more.

Look at the exterior and interior of the store. Neon lights, colourful male and female outfits, modern and stylish sneakers and wedges for the ladies, backpacks, accessories, and the list go on and on. For Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber fans, don’t forget to check out ‘what to wear’ for your favourite celebrities are currently wearing as they are the brand ambassador for AdidasNEO Label.

Want to know what did I do before the day came? I've checked on AdidasNEO online to hunt for the things that I wanted to grab! I hope you do what I did too so that you will not what to get first hand. Three of us were hunting left and right of the store and we have bought 3 bags each! Wait for the next up coming post to see what I have bought. Definitely, I love the material and the style.

This weekend, I will be spending sometime with the beautiful people in my life - friends and family.
